It’s 1987. The bangs are feathered, the war is cold, and the FCC team members are meeting in DC to discuss the abolishment of the long-standing Fairness Doctrine rule. But the average American news consumer is smart, so really, what could go wrong? As the vote draws closer, a rift begins to open between the FCC Chair and his loyal secretary. Only one of them has any real power…but which one is it? Who really gets to decide what stories get heard, whose voice matters, and whether a fact can be believed? Maybe even the world around them isn’t exactly what it seems…
Hindsight is a genre-bending meta-comedy that asks questions about how we communicate when we can’t even get our facts straight.
