Certain Woman of an Age

Written with Margaret Trudeau, Directed by Kimberly Senior

When she was 23 years old, Margaret Sinclair stunned the world when she married then Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau, nearly 30 years her senior. For the next several decades, Mrs. Trudeau was rarely out of the the media spotlight, making headlines as a mother, divorcee, and fashion icon, before evolving into an outspoken mental-health advocate, water activist,  and first-mother. Exploring hilarious stories from her “wild child” days partying with the Rolling Stones and dancing at Studio 54, and delving deep into her public struggles with bi-polar disorder, Certain Woman is a funny, poignant, and moving evening of theater, that allows a media legend to take back her own story.
