Since the original production of She’s Not There, the play has been expanded into a full length. It had its first production at the Brown/Trinity Playwright’s Rep in the summer of 2011.

Cast Bios:
Alix Sobler – Writer/Casey
Alix Sobler is a writer/performer originally from New York. Since moving to Winnipeg she has appeared onstage for Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, Dry Cold Productions, Brand Neu Works and Echo Theatre (and almost Rainbow Stage). This past year she co-produced and acted in Playing for Time as a part of the Master Playwrights Festival. She has taught acting, improvisation, musical theatre and even claymation to students ages 3 and up.
In addition to her acting and teaching, Alix is a freelance writer who has written many plays including five solo shows. Fringe favourites include Flavor of the Week, America Vs. Canada, The Cloud Factory and most recently, Jason Neufeld is Impotent. Her play Some Things You Keep will be making its world premiere at Winnipeg Jewish Theatre as a part of the 2009/2010 season. Her comedy can often be heard on CBC’s Definitely Not the Opera. She is currently writing three blogs, including feministwedding.blogspot.com in which she records the trials and triumphs of planning a feminist wedding. She likes dogs and cats a lot. She is thrilled to be appearing at the Winnipeg Fringe again with her fiancé Jason.
Jason Neufeld – Scott
Jason Neufeld is a veteran of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and the Canadian Fringe circuit. He made his debut in 2001 with the wildly popular Confessions of a Repressed Mennonite and hasn’t looked back. Well, maybe he looked back a little bit with a sequel called The Mennonite Bandit vs Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n Roll performed independently in the fall of 2002. And then of course he staged a remount in the summer of 2003, touring from Montreal to Vancouver. But other than that—no looking back. His shows include The Sound of Two Dorks Humping, Kentucky Waterfall, award winner The Rise and Fall of Bloody Redemption, Reinventing Miss Exciting and Alix Sobler Slept with my Brother—a companion piece to Alix Sobler’s Jason Neufeld is Impotent. In his spare time, Jason is the Program Director at a street-level agency called Resource Assistance for Youth (RaY) which supports homeless and street-entrenched youth and young adults in Winnipeg. He is the proud parent of two cats and is engaged to his Fringe Festival sweetheart Alix Sobler whom he met in Saskatoon in 2002. Jason would like to thank Alix for keeping up her side of the bargain and writing a part for him and not making him look too stupid but just stupid enough.
Jennifer Hupe – Raine
Jennifer Hupe is excited to be making her fringe debut with InTrouble Productions. She was last seen at the Prairie Theatre Exchange’s Carol Shields Festival of New Works in Bone Cage. She performed her fist solo show, Sabina’s Splendid Brain, at last year’s FemFest. She is a recent graduate of University of Winnipeg Theatre Honors Program where she appeared in productions ofKing Lear, The Glass Menagerie, and Blithe Spirit among others. She has appeared on Less Than Kind on Citytv. Her training also includes Canada’s National Voice Intensive and RADA.
